Shuna Mia from Boli Bazaar Arrested

        Shuna Mia, 60, s/o Dudu Mia from Boli Bazaar, North Maungdaw, was arbitrarily arrested by a government official on last Saturday evening , demanding (5) million kyats. When the man's son had asked the official why his father got arrested, the official replied that it was state government's order, which is actually not . Shuna Mia's son finally had to give (2)million kyats to get the father released

       Shuna Mia is known as an economically well-to-do person possessing a clothing store at the market and recently ordered (3) trucks from his son in Yangon. Envious of his economic prosperity, the official did this activity to acquire that huge amount of money.

      The official whose name is San Ming previously served as the police officer in Boli Bazaar . Now he is serving under the department of so called "Eradication of Human Trafficking", which is also under police department . San Ming is notorious in Boli Bazaar for his former brutal activities against Rohingya Muslims .
