In Borgwa village which is close to Thet Shon Rakhine village, an unidentified
Rohingya boy was deadly punished and sent to jail by a Rakhine man named Kyaw
Oo, 39, whose father name is Hla Tun Pyu, calling him as to work as to work for
a while near a coconut tree before punishment . He is lying that the victim
fall down from top of the tree. In an attempt to prove him innocent, Kyaw Oo
took Thet Shon village administrator named Aung Wa Sin and no no. 16 Luntin
battalion captain , Captain Than Shwe along with him. But eye witnesses say
that the victim was arbitrarily punished . Right now the victim is at Sittwe
General Hospital but current situation of the victim is unclear for the
hospital is worse than prison for Rohingya Muslims and there is no
communication facility including mobile phones.

the village of Burachidda Fara, North of Maung Daw, an election was held by the
respective authorities from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to elect the village
administrator . Village elders, Amir Hakim and Shuna Miya ran for the post . Although Amir Hakim
was was supposed to win the majority votes, the authorities had not announced
the election result, saying they will do so after three days. Likewise, that
the election process is going on in the other villages too is known to us.
